Illumina Lab Automation Software Solution (ILASS) guides the user through the steps of the workflow via an intuitive user interface and provides on-deck validation, meaning the consumables loaded on the liquid handling robots are verified prior to use regardless of whether the customer is using LIMS. Real-time integration with cloud-based Clarity LIMS supports compliance with eSignature capability, audit trails, reagent and lot tracking, preset protocols, and privacy and security controls, which is critical for high-throughput customers.

Whole-genome amplification step is 3 hr for Infinium EX compared with 24 hr for legacy Infinium workflows, reducing total workflow time by 20%
Input DNA required for Infinium EX genotyping workflow is 100 ng compared with 200 ng for legacy workflows
Reagents are EH&S-friendly and formamide free
ILASS provides an improved UI and support experience
Updated automation and software allow integration with cloud-based analysis
